Connecting workers with global opportunities: A hiring & visa management platform for Posrednik24
Description
We worked with Posrednik24, a company that helps students find summer jobs abroad and supports workers in securing regular employment and visas across Europe. We built a comprehensive web application that connects job seekers with employers, streamlines applications, and enables end-to-end management of the hiring and visa process — all in one platform.
Background
Based in Germany, Posrednik24 connects job seekers from the Balkans with international opportunities in countries like Germany, Croatia, and other parts of Europe. Their services range from summer job placements for students to full-time work and visa facilitation for experienced workers.
Operating in a highly regulated and document-heavy space, Posrednik24 needed a solution that could streamline communication between candidates and employers, reduce administrative burden, and allow for secure document handling and tracking — all while providing a great experience for non-technical users with varied needs.
Challenge
PRME faced a dual challenge: create a structured and reliable system for collecting annual reports from hundreds of signatory institutions, while also fostering open dialogue, shared learning, and collective storytelling within the global academic community. The previous workflow was fragmented, with limited flexibility for institutions to share their unique contributions or learn from one another. They needed a digital space that could handle the technical rigor of survey submission and report generation, but also reflect the values of transparency, collaboration, and long-term impact.
Process
We started by conducting stakeholder interviews to understand the full lifecycle of a job placement, from employer onboarding to final visa processing. We mapped out the different user types (students, full-time job seekers, recruiters, admins), and documented the workflows unique to each group.
Our team moved into UX/UI design, focusing on making the platform accessible for a broad, multilingual user base. After several rounds of prototyping and feedback, we began phased development and testing.
Key features delivered include:
- A job board where employers can post listings and define criteria such as location, position type, and required documents
- A CV builder for applicants to create and maintain professional profiles
- Smart matching & filtering to help companies find candidates who meet their requirements
- End-to-end process management, allowing both sides to handle selections, confirmations, and visa preparation directly in the app
Result
The new Posrednik24 platform digitized and streamlined what was once a heavily manual process. It empowered companies to recruit faster and more accurately, and gave job seekers, especially students, an intuitive and structured way to find opportunities abroad.
By centralizing applications, communication, and documentation in one place, the platform not only increased efficiency but also enabled the Posrednik24 team to scale their operations across multiple countries without added overhead. Most importantly, it made the process of working abroad clearer, faster, and more accessible to thousands of users.
